DC Hailakandi transferred, new DC Gurdeep Singh Panesar

January 13: Within a fortnight of the transfer of Deputy Commissioner of Cachar, it’s now the turn of the Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi. Keerthi Jalli, IAS has been transferred as the DC of Jorhat. She has been replaced by Gurdeep Singh Panesar as the new DC of Hailakandi.

Panesar was the Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam , Soil Conservation Department and CEO SLNA (IWMP). It needs mention here that Gurdeep Singh Panesar was once upon a time the Project Director of DRDA, Cachar.
