DC Hailakandi felicitates toppers in Persian, Bengali & Maths in HSLC

May 27: Keerthi Jalli, Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi felicitated three students of the district who passed HSLC/AHM Examination, 2019 a few days ago with flying colours. Toppers in individual subjects in Persian, Bengali and Mathematics were encouraged by the Deputy Commissioner for scaling more heights in their future strides.

The three brilliant students who were felicitated on Monday by the DC are Baby Manjima Khanum Barbhuiyan, topper in Persian subject in HSLC exam from MABM Swadeshi school, Abul Kalam Barbhuiya who secured highest marks in State in the subject Bengali from Hailakandi Town High Madrassa and Rejwana Ferdaws Laskar who is the second topper with distinction and Abu Hassan Laskar who scored highest marks in Maths in the district.

In a social media post, Keerthi Jalli, Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi wrote, “As we congratulate all, we would also like to reiterate to all the students who didn’t score as much as their hearts desire, please do not lose hope and do not let these marks be a judge of how far you will go in life.” Citing an example of Albert Einstein, She wrote, “Einstein who revolutionised entire world of physics with his Theory of Relativity was very bad at formal studies and was asked by his teachers to drop out of school as they considered him a poor student. Keep dreaming and keep achieving.”
