Cyclone Fani: Special trains announced to rescue stranded passengers
May 2: In wake of the approaching Cyclone Fani, which is set to make landfall along the coast of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal on 3, 2019, as many as 103 trains were cancelled by Indian Railways. Thousands of tourists/passengers/people from other states were stranded in Odisha. In order to facilitate the rescue of stranded passengers, the Indian Railways has announced three special trains.
