‘Chandaneer’ distribute masks & informative leaflets among 200 passengers at Silchar Railway Station

March 16: Amidst growing corona concern, socio-cultural organisation ‘Chandaneer’ distributed masks and leaflets containing do’s and don’ts regarding COVID-19. The members of ‘Chandaneer distributed the masks and leaflets among around 200 passengers of the Delhi bound Sampark Kranti Express at Silchar Railway Station on Monday.

Speaking to way2barak, Bhaskar Das of ‘Chandaneer’ said, “As a part of our social commitment, we have decided to be a catalyst in this war against outbreak of coronavirus. In our own humble way, we distributed masks among the passengers and distributed printed leaflets containing precautionary measures against coronavirus.”

Apart from Bhaskar Das, also present at Silchar Railway Station were Kishor Dutta Choudhury, Kanai Lal Das, Jayanta Paul among others on behalf of ‘Chandaneer.’
