Budget of Assam postponed to 6 March, assembly session extended till 30 March

February 28: Instead of 4 March, the Assam state government is now scheduled to present the full budget on 6 March, 2020. Further the budget session of the state assembly has also been extended. The budget session which will begin on 2 March will now conclude on 30 March instead of 27 March. The assembly dates were extended as the state government has declared holiday on 9 & 10 March on account of the festival of Holi.
