BJP distances itself from Trump, says he lost because of not handling Covid-19 properly
Nov. 8: After the resounding victory of Joe Biden in the recently concluded US Presidential elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seems to distance itself from Donal Trump. Speaking during a rally in Bihar, JP Nadda, BJP National President said that Donald Trump failed to handle COVID-19 properly in the US. He said that this failure had a negative effect on his campaigns and ultimately he failed to win the race due to his faulty policy as regards containing coronavirus.
JP Nadda then drew an analogy between Donald Trump and Narendra Modi. He said, while both these statesmen devoted to contain the spread of COVID-19 in their respective countries, Trump failed while Modi emerged victorious. He said, “PM Modi saved the 130 crore population of India by taking timely decision during the pandemic.
