Barak Valley Welfare Development Society celebrates R. Day

January 26: Barak Valley Welfare Development Society (BVWDS) celebrated the 71st Republic Day with pomp and splendour at their office Premises, RamKrishna Mission Road, Silchar. The National Flag was hoisted in the morning by the President of the organisation Gouranga Chanda along with all the members and Project staff.

This was followed by games and sports among the children. Those staying at Open Shelter Home for Boys and UJJAWALA P&R Home at Panchayat Road, Silchar near Fazal Saha Mukam participated in the games.

Games, such as, Chocolate Race, Sum Race, Musical Chair, Pot Breaking, Carrom, Sit and Draw compitation etc. were conducted by BVWDS among the children. Finally, prizes were distributed among the winners in presence of all the members and staff of the society.
