Athgaon Kabristhan Masjid in Guwahati declared ‘Containment Zone’গুয়াহাটির আটগাঁও মসজিদ সিল, জামাল হাজির বিরুদ্ধে মামলা
১০ এপ্রিল: গুয়াহাটি আটগাঁও মসজিদ সিল করে দিয়েছে সরকার৷ আগামী ১৪দিনের জন্য একে কন্টেনমেন্ট জোন হিসাবে ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে৷ ওই মসজিদের ভেতরে যারা রয়েছেন, তাঁরা ভেতরে থেকেই ধর্মকর্ম করবেন৷ ১৪ দিন কেউ সেখান থেকে বেরোতে পারবেন না৷ কেউ বাইরে থেকে ভেতরেও যেতে পারবেন না বলে স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী ড. হিমন্ত বিশ্ব শর্মা শুক্রবার জানিয়েছেন৷

তিনি এর কারণ ব্যাখ্যা করে বলেন, বৃহস্পতিবার ধুবড়ির বিলাসীপাড়ার রহি উদ্দিনের পজিটিভ ধরা পড়েছে৷ তাঁর সংক্রমণের উৎস খুঁজতে গিয়ে ধরা পড়ে, গত ১২ মার্চ তিনি আটগাঁও মসজিদে গিয়েছিলেন৷ সেদিন সেখানে প্রায় একশো লোকের বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়৷ দুই নিজামফেরত পজিটিভ করিমগঞ্জের জামালউদ্দিন এবং ধুবড়ির জামালউদ্দিন হাজি সেখানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন৷ রহিউদ্দিন নিজামুদ্দিন যাননি৷ কিন্তু তাদের সূত্রেই সংক্রামিত হন৷ এক জায়গায় তিন পজিটিভের সন্ধান মিলেছে বলে আটগাঁও কবরস্থান মসজিদকে হটস্পট বলে মনে করছে আসাম সরকার৷

হিমন্ত জানান, সেদিনের বৈঠকে যারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন, তাদের মধ্যে ৫৮ জনের একটি তালিকা আটগাঁও কবরস্থান মসজিদ সূত্রে পাওয়া গিয়েছে৷ তাদের সবাইকে খুঁজে বের করে কোয়রান্টাইন করা হয়েছে৷ দুই জামালউদ্দিন ছাড়াও তাঁদের মধ্যে আরও ছয়জন নিজামফেরত রয়েছেন৷
নিজামের তথ্য গোপন করার জন্য ধুবড়ির জামালউদ্দিন হাজির বিরুদ্ধে মামলা দায়ের করা হয়েছে৷ হিমন্ত জানান, শারীরিক সমস্যা নিয়ে তিনি তিন হাসপাতালে গিয়ে ডাক্তার দেখান৷ সব জায়গাতেই নিজামুদ্দিন যাওয়ার কথা জিজ্ঞাসা করা হয়েছিল৷ তিনি সর্বত্র অস্বীকার করেন৷
April 10: Athgaon Kabristhan Masjid in Guwahati has been declared a containment zone and has been sealed for 14 days by the state government. This was informed by state Health Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma during a press briefing in Guwahati on Friday.

The minister informed the COVID-19 patient from Karimganj and 2 others from Dhubri were there in the Athgaon Kabristhan Masjid in Guwahati on 12 March. They stayed there at night. However, on 12 March, 2020, around 100 persons gathered in that mosque and a meeting was held. He informed that till now the government is in possession of a list of 58 persons who attended meeting at that mosque on 12 March. Out of these 58 persons, eight of them came back to Assam after attending the Islamic congregation at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi, which is now regarded as a ‘hot-bed of coronavirus.’

The minister also informed that though one COVID-19 patient in Dhubri did not attend Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi, but he stayed together with the other Markaz returned positive patients.
The entire Athgaon Kabristhan Masjid in Guwahati has been sealed and declared as a containment zone as per protocol. A few days ago, Spanish Garden apartment in Zoo Road was also declared as a containment zone as a positive case was found there.
