Assam University to Hold Cricket Team Selection Trials on December 23 and 24
আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ক্রিকেট দল গঠনের বাছাই পর্ব ২৩ ও ২৪ ডিসেম্বর

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১৬ ডিসেম্বর : ইস্ট জোন ইন্টার-ইউনিভার্সিটি ক্রিকেট (পুরুষ) চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপে অংশগ্রহণের জন্য আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে খেলোয়াড় বাছাই পর্ব আয়োজিত হবে আগামী ২৩ ও ২৪ ডিসেম্বর। বেলা ১০টা থেকে আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় স্পোর্টস কমপ্লেক্সে এই বাছাই পর্ব অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।

আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের স্পোর্টস বোর্ডের অ্যাসিস্ট্যান্ট ডিরেক্টর ড. সিদ্ধার্থ শর্মা এক বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে জানিয়েছেন, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও অধিভুক্ত কলেজগুলির স্নাতক ও তদূর্ধ্ব স্তরের আগ্রহী ছাত্ররা যথাযথ ক্রীড়া সামগ্রী সহ ট্রায়ালে অংশ নিতে পারবেন। বাছাই শেষে যোগ্য খেলোয়াড়দের জন্য কোচিং ক্যাম্প আয়োজন করা হবে এবং ট্রায়ালে সন্তোষজনক পারফরম্যান্সের ভিত্তিতেই চূড়ান্ত ক্রিকেট দল গঠন করা হবে।

উল্লেখ্য, ইস্ট জোন ইন্টার-ইউনিভার্সিটি ক্রিকেট (পুরুষ) চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপ আগামী বছরের ১০ থেকে ২১ জানুয়ারি ওড়িশার কটকে রাবেনশ’ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।এ বিষয়ে বিস্তৃত তথ্যের জন্য ড. সিদ্ধার্থ শর্মা (মোবাইল: ৯৪০১২১২৫৮৩) অথবা মি. নিরঞ্জন দাস (মোবাইল: ৯৪৩৫৫৬৬২১৬)-এর সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করতে বলা হয়েছে।

Way2barak, December 16 : Assam University will organise selection trials on December 23 and 24 for the formation of its cricket team to participate in the East Zone Inter-University Cricket (Men’s) Championship. The trials will be held from 10:00 am at the Assam University Sports Complex.

According to a notification issued by Dr. Siddhartha Sharma, Assistant Director of the Assam University Sports Board, interested undergraduate and postgraduate students of the university and its affiliated colleges may take part in the trials with proper sports gear. After the selection process, a coaching camp will be organised for the shortlisted players, and the final cricket team will be constituted based on satisfactory performance in the trials.

It may be noted that the East Zone Inter-University Cricket (Men’s) Championship will be held from January 10 to 21 next year at Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha.
