Assam University postpones all examinations to be held on 8 January

January 07: All examinations of Assam University to be held on 8 January, 2020 (Wednesday) were postponed ‘due to unavoidable reasons. This was notified by Dr. S. Dutta Roy, Controller of Examinations, Assam University, Silchar. It was also notified that ‘fresh dates will be notified in due course of time.”

Infact, Ten central trade unions INTUC, AITUC, HMS, CITU, AIUTUC, TUCC, SEWA, AICCTU, LPF, UTUC along with various sectoral independent federations and associations on Monday said around 25 crore people will participate in a nationwide strike on 8 January, 2020 to protest against the government’s “anti-people” policies.
