Assam registers 12 more deaths due to COVID-19, toll rises to 667

Sept. 28: On Monday, Assam registered 12 more cases of COVID-19. With this, the death toll of the state has now gone 667. The 12 deceased were identified as:

• Amirul Hussain (65) & Dambaru Deori (69) of Sivasagar
• Rupal Dutta (42) & Sambhu Dev (59) of Golaghat
• Jugen Gogoi (66) of Tinsukia;
• Ghanakanta Gogoi (65) of Dibrugarh
• Luhit Changmai (80) of Charaideo
• Ratneswar Kalita (65) of Barpeta
• Md Abdul Faruk (84) of Tinsukia
• Lakhi Kanta Sarma (56) of Sonitpur
• Gopal Chandra Kalita (55) of Kamrup Metro
• Rama Kanta (80) of Kamrup Rural
