Assam Police explains ‘News vs Fake News’ with a humorous meme
February 14: When it comes to wit, Assam Police definitely needs some laurels. In the past too, Assam Police has tweeted intelligent and witty one-liners to put across a serious issue. Once again now, Assam Police has come up with an amusing post on fake news. Assam Police has infact explained the difference between real and fake news with some help from Bollywood.
In its official handle, Assam Police tweeted a warning to public to distinguish between ‘news & fake news.’ They used two still from Ayushmann Khurrana’s 2019 film Bala to caution against fake news.
In the hilarious post, Assam Police shared two images from the film ‘Bala’ and added a punny caption too. “Hair lies the difference! Don’t be fooled,” they wrote. Interestingly, in the film ‘Bala’ the hero Ayushmann Khurrana plays a balding man who tries a number of tips, tricks and remedies to cure his premature hair loss. In their Twitter meme, Assam Police captioned a picture of a balding Ayushmann Khurrana as “news”, and one of him sporting a wig as “fake news”.
