Assam Governor will celebrate Diwali with jawans in Karimganj

October 26: Prof. JagdishMukhi, Governor of Assam will be celebrating Diwali, the festival of lights with the BSF jawans of Latitila BOP in Karimganj district on 27 October, 2019. The jawans are posted miles away from their home being severed from their near and dear ones during the festive days. They are there in their place of posting safeguarding the frontiers with devotion and dedication.

To help the jawans forget the alienation from their family, Governor Prof Mukhi decided to celebrate Diwali with them. Sources in the BSF have revealed that the BSF jawans were also very happy to know that the state Governor will spend the Diwali night with them and were eagerly waiting for his arrival on 27 October.
