AROH distributes 110 packets of grocery items in Silchar
April 20: As the lockdown got extended by another 19 days till 3 May, individuals and organisations again started to come out in help of the poor and needy. It is in this backdrop that the members of NGO AROH have set out in their venture of giving food to the hungry. AROH, which stands for ‘A Ray of Hope’ indeed stood besides the underprivileged. They have earlier also provided cooked food during Lockdown 1.0.
AROH distributed 110 packets of grocery items in various parts of Silchar including Kathal Road, Bhagatpur, Subhasnagar and areas near Rangirkhari. Rice, dal, oil, salt, soyabean and other essential items were given to the people while maintaining the norms of social distancing. The members of AROH said that they will continue helping the people in the days to come.
