অধ্যক্ষের বিরুদ্ধে স্বৈরাচারিতার অভিযোগে উত্তাল অবস্থা হাইলাকান্দির জওহর নবোদয় বিদ্যালয়ে। ছাত্রছাত্রীরা শনিবার বিদ্যালয় চত্বরেই অধ্যক্ষ বীরেন্দ্রকুমার যাদবের অপসারণ চেয়ে ক্লাশ বয়কট করে। স্লোগান দেয়, এই অধ্যক্ষকে লাগে না। তাদের অভিযোগ, বীরেন্দ্রবাবুর সঙ্গে কথাই বলা যায় না।  কোনও অভিযোগ বা সমস্যার কথা বলতে গেলেও জরিমানা করে বসেন। কথায় কথায় জরিমানা করে তিনি ছাত্রছাত্রী ও  অভিভাবকদের বেকায়দায় ফেলেন। আবাসিক বিদ্যালয়ে এমন স্বৈরাচারী মনোভাবের অধ্যক্ষ দেওয়া উচিত নয় বলেই মন্তব্য করে তারা। দ্রুত তাঁকে অপসারণ করা না হলে তারা ভিন্ন ধরনের আন্দোলনে নামার হুঁশিয়ারি দেয়।

September 29: Students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Hailakandi has alleged of tyrannical behavior against the Principal of the school. On Saturday, the students boycotted the class and demanded resignation of their Principal, Virendra Kumar Yadav. They raised slogans that they do not need such type of Principal.

They alleged that it is never possible to talk with Virendra Kumar Yadav. He behaves in a whimsical way and even charges fine from students if they go to discuss regarding any problem which they face. On any slight pretext, he imposes fine upon the students and thereby causes harassment even for the parents. Students expressed the view that such type of persons should not be made the Principal of any school. They further threatened that if the Principal is not removed at once, then they may be compelled to resort to other types of agitation.
