All heads of office in Cachar to keep mobile on & respond to call of administration

March 25: To prevent the possibility of outbreak and spread of COVID-19 (corona virus) among the inhabitants Cachar District and as a precautionary measure Deputy Commissioner, Cachar, Barnali Sharma has issued strict instructions to all heads of offices, organisation (both government & private) to remain alert.

She further directed all heads of office in the district to keep their mobile phones switched on and respond immediately whenever anything is sought from the office of the Deputy Commissioner. It was also informed that any negligence on their part will be dealt very seriously.

This order is issued in the greater interest of public as per section laid down in Section 33 and 34 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005. Non compliance of the order will be dealt seriously as per Section 51 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005. This was stated in a press release issued from the Regional Office of Information and Public Relations, Barak Zone, Assam.
