Adrija becomes champion in Under 12 Barak Valley Badminton Tournament

January 28: Earning laurels for herself & Silchar, Adrija Choudhury has become the champion in the Under 12 Girls’ 22nd Barak Valley Badminton Tournament, 2020. Adrija, a student of St. Capitanio Senior Secondary School, Silchar is the daughter of Ramendu Sekhar Choudhury and Manideepa Choudhury.

Adrija was handed over the Champion’s Award in a Prize Distribution Ceremony held at District Sports Association (DSA), Silchar in presence of MLA Dilip Kumar Paul, Babul Hore, President of Silchar DSA, former Union Minister Kabindra Purkayastha and other office bearers of DSA.

It needs mention here that Adrija Choudhury was also a semi-finalist in the Under 15 Girls’ Badminton Championship. Adrija is devoted to badminton and is taking coaching at DSA since a couple of years.
