Annual Sports Meet of Aryan Senior Secondary School begins at India Club Ground

Feb. 10: Aryan Senior Secondary School, a prestigious educational institution of Silchar has kick started its Annual Sports Meet on 10 February at India Club Ground. The sporting events began on 10 February. A formal ceremony was organised to mark the inauguration of the sports meet. The occasion was graced by former union minister Kabindra Purkayastha as the Chief Guest. The other dignitaries who attended the inaugural ceremony as guests of honour were Taimur Raja Choudhury and Ashutosh Roy.

The Chairman of Aryan Senior Secondary School Shubhasish Deshamukhya, Director Alokesh Nath and Principal Dr. Jayashish Mazumder were also present during the inauguration of annual sports meet. All of them highlighted the importance of games and sports in the lives of students.

A number of sporting events including carrom, badminton, volleyball, chess, short put, 100 mtrs race, chocolate race, 50 mtrs sack race, 50 mtrs spoon race, blind hit, cricket etc will be played by the students. At the end of the meet on 11 February, prizes will be distributed.
