08 tests +ve in Cachar on Wednesday, tally reaches 11,375

Jan. 6: On Wednesday, a total of 08 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 1,735 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, 05 persons were found positive, whereas 03 more were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Wednesday night.

With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 11,375.  Further, a total of 11,300 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 38 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 37 active cases in the district. It needs mention here that 06 persons were found positive in Cachar on Tuesday.
