Women Walkathon organised by Silchar Veteran Cricketers Club

Oct. 17: Silchar Veteran Cricketers Club organised a Women Walkathon on Saturday. A large number of women participants took part in the Walkathon which began from near the Silchar District Sports Association (DSA), complex and then went via Premtola, Shillong Patty and back to the starting point. The theme of the day was “Let’s Walkathon to be Covid Free).

Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of Silchar also participated in this Walkathon and sponsored breakfast for all the participants. IWC was represented by its President Sutapa Bhattacharjee, Shilpi Ghosh, Moumita Gupta among others.

Apart from them, the office bearers of Silchar DSA also were present during the Walkathon, which included Babul Hore, Bijendra Prasad Singh, Dr. Siddhartha Bhattacharjee and others.
