‘Illicit relation’ cause of woman’s death at Tarani Road, 1 arrested

৪ নভেম্বরঃ অবৈধ সম্পর্কের জেরেই প্রাণ দিতে হয়েছে তরণী রোডের ঝুমা পালকে। একপ্রস্ত তদন্তের পর এমনটাই মনে হচ্ছে পুলিশের। মৃতার মোবাইলের কল লিস্ট পরীক্ষা করে নিজাম উদ্দিন নামে এক যুবককে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে। পেশায় গাড়িচালক নিজামের সঙ্গে তার প্রতিদিন বেশ কয়েকবার কথা হতো। মৃত্যুর দিনও একাধিকবার কথা হয়েছে তাদের।

সেখান থেকেই পুলিশের সন্দেহ, স্বামী রাজু পালের অনুপস্থিতিতে তাদের ভাড়াঘরে নিজাম উদ্দিনই এসেছিল। কোনও ইস্যুতে হয়তো তাদের বনিবনা হয়নি, বা কোনও কারণে হয়তো নিজাম তাকে পৃথিবীতে রাখতে চায়নি। সে জন্যই ঘরের মধ্যে তাকে খুন করা হয়েছে। এইসব বিচার-বিশ্লেষণ করেই পুলিশ শনিবার গভীর রাতে শিলচরের নাগাটিলা থেকে নিজামউদ্দিনকে থানায় তুলে আনে। তবে এ পর্যন্ত সে হত্যায় জড়িত থাকার কথা অস্বীকার করে চলেছে।

November 4:Jhuma Paul, a house wife of Tarani Road, Silchar lost her life in all probability owing to illicit relationship. At the end of a round of investigation, police has come to this conclusion. After thoroughly examining the call list of the deceased, police has arrested a man, named, Nizamuddin. A driver by profession, Nizamuddin and Jhuma used to talk with each other daily. Even on the day of her murder, both of them had several rounds of talk over mobile. This was regarded by the police as the basic clue for their further investigation.

Police is suspecting that, in the absence of her husband Raju Paul, Nizamuddin came to their house to meet Jhuma. However, it may so happen that both of them disagreed on some issue or may be that Nizamuddin did not wanted Jhuma to be alive any further. That was why, she was murdered inside her house. Taking into consideration, all these aspects, police picked up Nizamuddin from his house at Nagatilla on Saturday night and brought him for interrogation at the police station. However, till now, he has denied his involvement in the murder of Jhuma Paul.
