Veteran actor Paresh Rawal appointed Chairman of National School of Drama
Sept. 10: Veteran actor of Bollywood Paresh Rawal was appointed as the new Chairman of the prestigious institute, National School of Drama on Thursday. He will be taking over the position of chairman from prominent theatre artist Arjun Deo Charan who is chairing it at present. Paresh Rawal is the National Award-winning actor and former MP of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was honoured with the Padma Shri.

Taking to his twitter handle, Union Culture Minister Prahlad Singh Patel wrote, “Renowned artiste Paresh Rawal has been appointed as Chairman of National School of Drama by Rashtrapati Bhavan. I am glad that students and artistes will be able to take advantage of his talent. I congratulate him.”
