Minor girl kidnapped at Chandmari, rescued, 1 arrested

৩১ অক্টোবরঃ ঘর থেকে তুলে নিয়ে গেল ১৩ বছরের কিশোরীকে। দ্রুত খবর পাওয়ায় এক এনজিও-কে নিয়ে অপহৃতাকে উদ্ধার করা সম্ভব হয়েছে। ঘটনা তারাপুর চানমারি এলাকায়। পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, বাড়িতে কেউ না থাকার সুযোগ নিয়ে মঙ্গলবার রবি বর্মন (৩০) ও সঞ্জয় দাস (৩২) নামে দুই যুবক ফুঁসলিয়ে মেয়েটিকে ঘর থেকে বের করে আনে। পরে কালাইন অঞ্চলে তুলে নিয়ে যায়। সেখান থেকেই স্থানীয় এক এনজিওর সহায়তায় উদ্ধার করা হয় মেয়েটিকে। সঙ্গে ধরে আনা হয় রবিকে। পরে তাকে পুলিশে দেওয়া হয়। অপহরণকাণ্ডের মূল চাঁই সঞ্জয় এখনও পলাতক।

তারাপুর চানমারি থেকে মেয়ে তুলে নেওয়ার খবরে চাঞ্চল্য দেখা দিয়েছে। অপহরণকারীদের উদ্দেশ্য নিয়ে নানা কথা হচ্ছে। পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, এজাহারে শুধুই অপহরণের কথা বলা হয়েছে। শ্লীলতাহানি বা ধর্ষণের অভিযোগ নেই। তবু  গুরুত্ব দিয়ে মামলাটি দেখছেন তাঁরা, জানিয়েছেন অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ সুপার রাকেশ রেড্ডি।

October 31: A 13-year old minor girl was kidnapped from her home. However, this incident came to the forefront at once and so with the help of a NGO, it became possible to rescue her. The incident occurred at Chandmari area of Tarapur. As per police, the girl was all alone at her house on Tuesday. Taking this advantage, two boys, Ravi Barman (30) and Sanjay Das (32) somehow convinced the girl and took her out of the house. She was taken by them to Kalain. She was rescued from Kalian area with the help of a NGO. They also caught hold of Ravi Barman and handed him over to the police. But the main culprit, Sanjay Das managed to escape.

Panic spread throughout the area of Chandmari and Tarapur when people came to know about the incident. People were wondering about the intention of the two kidnappers. Police has informed that the complaint filed only mentioned about ‘kidnapping’. There was no mention of molestation or rape in the FIR. Inspite of this, police is looking into this incident quite seriously and is trying to keep in many many angles during the investigation.
