Leo Club of Silchar to hold ‘Short Story Contest’; click for details

June 5: Short Stories have always been accounted as the quick escape from chaos. In this situation of coronavirus pandemic as well, fictional stories work as a means of easy relaxation. It is in this connection, Leo Club of Silchar have come up with a ‘Short Story Contest’ for all. It needs mention here that Leo Club of Silchar is the youth wing of Lions Club of Silchar Lioness.

The following guidelines were declared by Leo Club of Silchar for participating in this contest:

• No specific theme. Gear up your creativity and pen down a story of your favorite genre
• Word limit: 1000
• Email your submissions in doc format to: leoclubofsilchar@gmail.comt
• Deadline: 20 July, 2020.

Points table:

There will be a consideration of the number of likes and shares your story gets.

• points for comments
•  points for shares.

However, the decision of the judges will be final. Also, to enter the contest, participants will have to like the Facebook Page of Leo Club of Silchar and send a screenshot!

There will be two groups. The 1st group will comprise of the school kids, that is, students of classes 12 and below. The 2nd group is for those doing their graduation and above. Each participant will get e-certificates and the winner from each group gets an Amazon Gift card.
