Ramakrishna Mission distribute blankets among needy students

২৩ ডিসেম্বরঃ ছাত্রদের কম্বল দিল রামকৃষ্ণ মিশন।

কাছাড় জেলায় কুম্ভা এলাকার লাংলাছড়াতে রয়েছে সারদা কোচিং সেন্টার। মূলত বাগান শ্রমিক পরিবারের ছেলেমেয়েরাই বিনা খরচে পড়তে যায় সেখানে। অধিকাংশের শীতবস্ত্র নেই। পড়বে কী, রাতে শীতে কাবু হয়ে যায়। তাদের কথা ভেবে ২৫০টি কম্বল সংগ্রহ করল শিলচর রামকৃষ্ণ মিশন। গত বুধবার সেখানে গিয়ে ছাত্রদের হাতে ওই কম্বল তুলে দেন দেবাশিস মহারাজের নেতৃত্বাধীন মিশনের  প্রতিনিধি দল।

কম্বল পেয়ে ছাত্রছাত্রীরা অত্যন্ত খুশি। খুশি মহারাজ সহ মিশনের প্রত্যেকে।

December 23: Blankets were distributed among the students by Ramakrishna Mission.

There is a Sarada Coaching Centre at Langlachera in Kumba area of Cachar district. Mainly, the children of the tea-labourers go to study in that centre. However, poverty is a major obstacle which hinders their studies. In the winter season due to lack of warm clothes, they find it very difficult to study at night. Finally, Ramakrishna Mission, one of the largest philanthropic organisation came forward and arranged 250 blankets for these poor little children. Last Wednesday, the students were handed over the blankets by a team of Ramakrishna Mission headed by Debashish Maharaj.

The students were extremely glad to receive the blankets. Even the monks of the Mission expressed joy for being able to help the deprived students.
