529 persons brought to SMCH on suspicion of COVID-19
শিলচর মেডিক্যালে করোনা সন্দেহে আনা হয় ৫২৯ জনকে

২৩ মার্চ: শিলচর মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালে প্রতিনিয়ত করোনা সন্দেহে মানুষদের পরীক্ষার জন্য আনা হচ্ছে৷ সোমবার ৮০ জনের পরীক্ষা হয়৷ এ পর্যন্ত মোট ৫২৯ জনকে মেডিক্যালে আনা হয়েছে৷ তাদের মধ্যে ১৩ জনকে আইসোলেশনে রাখা হয়েছে৷

১ জনের রিপোর্ট আসা এখনও বাকি৷ বাকিদের নেগেটিভ৷ কোয়রান্টাইনে রাখা হয়েছে ১১৭ জনকে৷ ৩ জনকে রাখা হয়েছে এনআইটিতে৷ অন্য সবাই বাড়িতেই স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগের পর্যবেক্ষণে রয়েছেন৷

সোমবার স্বাস্থ্যবিভাগের পক্ষ থেকে এক সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে এই তথ্য জানান মেডিক্যাল কলেজের উপাধ্যক্ষ ডা. ভাস্কর গুপ্ত ও জেলা স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগের মিডিয়া এক্সপার্ট সুমন চৌধুরী৷ তাঁরা প্রেসক্রিপশনে করোনা ধরা পড়ার ভিডিওর কথা উল্লেখ করে বলেন, এটি পুরোপুরি জাল৷ প্রেসক্রিপশনটিই শিলচর মেডিক্যাল কলেজের নয়৷

March 23: Every now and then, patients are brought at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) on suspicion of being infected with coronavirus. On Monday, 40 persons were tested. Till now, 529 persons were brought to SMCH, out of which 13 of them were kept in isolation and the report of one of them is awaited.

The rest 117 were kept in negative quarantine. Three of them were kept in isolation in NIT, Silchar. The rest were allowed to go to their home, but are under the supervision of health department.

This was informed in a press conference on Monday by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH and Media Expert of District Health Department, Suman Choudhury. Mentioning about the viral prescription which caused panic among the people of Silchar, they said that this is totally a fake incident. They even told that the viral prescription is not of Silchar Medical College and Hospital.
