3 more Nigerians arrested from Assam-Tripura border for illegally entering India

November 15: In the recent past, around two dozens of Nizerians were arrested both by the Assam Police and its counterpart in Meghalaya. All of them entered the Indian territory without valid documents. On Friday evening, 3 more Nizerians were arrested Assam-Tripura border area by the Churaibari police. The trio were enroute to Guwahati from Agartala.

The three Nizerian nationals who were apprehended by the police were identified as Ohaezube- S/O Chinonso Philip, Eteanyiwara- S/O Ohenukwu Simeon and Asieme- S/O Nnaemeka Bernard. After being nabbed, they have learnt to have confessed of entering India illegally from Bangladesh. They were apprehended from a night super bus by the police.
