3 hockey players from DSA Silchar selected in Assam Junior Men’s Team to play in National championship in Chennai

May 14: It’s indeed another feather in the cap for for District Sports Association (DSA), Silchar. Three hockey players from DSA Silchar has been selected to represent the Assam Junior Men’s Team for the 12th Hockey India Junior Men’s Hockey National Championship to be held in Chennai, Tamil Nadu from 18 May to 27 May,  2022.

The three promising hockey players selected to represent the state team in Junior Men’s Hockey National Championship are: Sourav Hazam, Rahul Paul and Deep Das (Goal Keeper). Expressing his views, Bijendra Prasad Singh, General Secretary of DSA Silchar said, “It’s indeed a great news for Silchar hockey. We hope that more promising youths from from Silchar DSA will make place for themselves in state and national level events.”
