3-day Sports Meet at Lalit Jain Commerce College comes to an end on Saturday

March 30: The Annual Sports Fest, 2019 of Lalit Jain Commerce College, Silchar which started on 27 March came to an end on 30 March. Both the opening and closing ceremony of the sports meet was a gala event. This is not the first time that the college is organising such event. This premier higher educational institute of the valley has been successfully organising such extra-curricular events since its very inception.

A number of events like cricket, badminton, tug of war, carom, chess, badminton, etc were organised in which the students participated in large numbers. A special friendly cricket match was also organized where even the female teachers participated along with the students.

The closing of the Annual Sports was held on 30th March with Mr. Mahabir Prasad Jain, President, Governing Body, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Jain encouraged the students to excell in co curricular activities along with their academics. He also spoke to the students about the upcoming vote and told them how each of their vote is important and will make a difference. The prize distribution ceremony was followed by a cultural program where the teachers and the students participated actively.
