2 drug peddlers nabbed, 9800 Yaba tablets seized

February 17: A search operation was carried on at Janata Bazar by the officer in charge Dholai PS and staff in which two suspected drug peddlers were apprehended. Based on a tip off, police forces nabbed the two on Monday who were identified as Praneswar Das (22 Yrs) S/O-Nakul Chandra Das & Sanjit Das (23 Yrs) S/O-Late Joy Kumar Das.

Police recovered 49 number of small size blue packets; each packet containing 200 number of Yaba tablets suspected to be Narcotic Drugs. A total of 9800 Yaba tablets were recovered by the police from their possession. Both of them were produced in the court on Tuesday.
