17th Convocation of Assam University to be held on 14 March

March 12: The 17th Convocation of Assam University will be held on 14 March, 2019 at 10 AM at the Netaji Subhas Mancha. Prof. Dilip Chandra Nath, Vice Chancellor of the University will preside over the function. Prof. A.P. Dash, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Tamil Nadu will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and will also deliver the convocation address.

A total of around 2600 students have applied for receiving their certificates during the 17th Convocation. Degrees will be awarded on that day for a number of courses, such as, Ph.d, M.Phil, PG, Integrated Course, Diploma, BSW, B.A., B.Sc, B.com, B.Pharma, LLB etc.

The dress for convocation will be given on 13 March, that is, on the Rehearsal Day. It is mandatory for all eligible applicants to attend the convocation wearing the specified dress. Further, all aspirants were also directed by the University to attend the dress rehearsal on 13 March.
