128 donates blood at Ayachak Ashram on Sunday in collaboration with BVVBDF

April 28: A voluntary blood donation camp was organised at Ayachak Ashram, Silchar on Sunday. The camp was organised in collaboration with Barak Valley Voluntary Blood Donors Forum (BVVBDF). The said camp was inaugurated by Dr. Rajdeep Roy, eminent physician and BJP leader, who is a resident of the area where the Ayachak Ashram is situated at Silchar.

The blood donation camp began at around 10 in the morning and came to an end at 2.45 PM. A total of 128 units of blood was collected on the day, including 11 female donors. Speaking during the occasion, Dr. Manoj Kumar Paul and Ashu Paul expressed their sincere thanks to the donors who have come forward to save lives of the persons who are in need of blood.

It needs mention here that in order to make the blood donation camp successful, Ayachak Ashram, Silchar and Barak Valley Voluntary Blood Donors Forum (BVVBDF) took out an awareness rally on Saturday. Ayachak Ashram, Silchar has been successfully conducting the voluntary blood donation camp since the last 8 years.
