11-day Bharat Darshan Special Tourist train at affordable price to start from Agartala on 3 November

September 24: IRCTC Tourism brings in opportunity for travel lovers to visit prominent historical and religious places at an affordable price. For this, the railways has introduced a train named ‘Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Train, which will begin its journey for 10 nights and 11 days from Agartala on 3 November, 2019.

The total cost of the package will be Rs. 10,395 and will include sleeper class journey ticket, night stay in budget hotels, 3 meals a day (only vegetarian) & tea twice a day and non-AC Tourist bus to visit the tourist sites. Further, every coach will have non-armed security guards for the safety of the passengers, a tour escort to guide the tourists and an officer of the rank of Superintendent will be made available in the train by IRCTC.

The package is LTC approved and bills or documents for claiming LTC will also be provided. A 70-member team for performing various functions will be there in the train.

The passengers travelling by this Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Train will be taken to Vaishno Devi Temple, Golden Temple, Jalianwala Bagh, Wagah border and many such other places. Addressing newsmen at Silchar, a railway official said, “The basic concept of providing the Bharat Darsh Special Tourist Train is to offer passengers subsized rates so that they can afford to avail the package and see historical and religious and holy places. Though the train will not touch Silchar yet passengers from Barak Valley can avail this train from Badarpur. The train has limited number of stoppages including Badarpur, Guwahati, New Coochbihar, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar and a few more places.”
