ইম্ফল, ২৫ জুলাই ঃ ৩ মে থেকে ৮৩ দিনের হিংসার পর মণিপুরে আংশিকভাবে ইন্টারনেট পরিষেবা পুনরায় চালু করার আদেশ জারি করা হয়েছে। অর্থাৎ কিছু শর্ত সাপেক্ষে রাজ্যে ব্রডব্যান্ড পরিষেবা চালু করা হবে। এর আগে রাজ্য পুলিশ বলেছিল, যারা মহিলার হত্যার ভিডিওটি মণিপুরের বলে দাবি করে ভাইরাল করেছে তাদের গ্রেফতারের চেষ্টা করা হচ্ছে।

পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, ২৪ জুলাই মামলা দায়ের করা হয়েছে। ভিডিওটিতে বলা হয়েছে, সশস্ত্র লোকেরা মণিপুরে মহিলাকে হত্যা করেছে, যেখানে ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে মায়ান্মারে। ভিডিওটি ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার উদ্দেশ্য ছিল, রাজ্যের শান্তি বিঘ্নিত করা এবং দাঙ্গা উসকে দেওয়া। অন্যদিকে, দুই মহিলাকে নগ্ন করার ঘটনায় সপ্তম অভিযুক্তকে গ্রেফতার করেছে মণিপুর পুলিশ। ১৯ জুলাই এই ঘটনার ভিডিও ভাইরাল হয়।

Imphal, July 25: An order has been issued to partially restore internet services in Manipur after 83 days of violence from May 3. This means that broadband services will be restored in the state subject to certain conditions. Earlier, the state police had said that efforts were on to arrest those who circulated the video of the woman’s murder claiming to be from Manipur.

Police said a case was registered on July 24. The video claimed that armed men killed the woman in Manipur, where the incident took place in Myanmar. The purpose of circulating the video was to disturb peace in the state and incite riots. Meanwhile, the Manipur police arrested the seventh accused in the case of two women paraded naked. A video of the incident went viral on July 19.
