২৮ সেপ্টেম্বরঃ থানার সামনে থেকে উধাও হয়ে গেল নতুন কেনা ট্রাক। ৪ দিনেও এর হদিশ বের করতে পারেনি পুলিশ। ঘটনা হাইলাকান্দির।

সবচেয়ে নিরাপদ জায়গা ভেবে কলেজ রোডস্থিত থানার সামনে তাঁর নতুন ট্রাকটিকে রাখতেন ফয়েজ আমহদ মিঞা। কিন্তু ২৫ সেপ্টেম্বর সকালে এসে দেখেন, রাতে রেখে যাওয়া ট্রাক উধাও। এজাহার দিলেও তাদের চোখের সামনে থেকে নিয়ে যাওয়া ট্রাকটির হদিশ বের করতে পারেনি পুলিশ। মাত্র ২৪ দিন আগে নতুন গাড়িটি কিনেছিলেন ফয়েজ আহমদ। সেটি চুরি যাওয়ায় তিনি একেবারে ভেঙে পড়েছেন। থানার সামনে থেকে ট্রাক চুরির ঘটনা জেলা জুড়ে চাঞ্চল্যের সৃষ্টি করেছে।

A brand new truck was stolen from near the police station. Police failed to locate the truck since the last four days. the incident took place at Hailakandi.

The truck owner, Foyez Ahmed Miyan used to park his truck near the police station at College Road, Hailakandi. He regarded this spot to be the safest. But on 25 September, when Foyez came in the morning, he was taken by surprise to find that the truck which he parked the previous night near the police station was missing. he purchased the truck just 24 days ago. He became disheartened at this incident of theft.The incident has caused panic among the people of Hailakandi
