Parents asked to know their wards’ marks by Radhamadhab College

১৫ সেপ্টেম্বর : আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সিবিসিএস শিক্ষাক্রমের নিয়ম অনুযায়ী শিলচরের রাধামাধব কলেজে প্রথম ইন্টারন্যাল অ্যাসেসমেন্ট পরীক্ষা ৬ সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে ১২ সেপ্টেম্বর পর্যন্ত অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। এ কথা জানিয়ে রাধামাধব কলেজের অধ্যক্ষ প্রণয় রঞ্জন দেব বলেন, এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পরীক্ষায় বহু ছাত্রছাত্রী অনুপস্থিত ছিল, আবার অনেকে পরীক্ষার ফলাফলেও উত্তীর্ণ হতে পারেনি। এর প্রেক্ষিতে কলেজ অধ্যক্ষ ছাত্রছাত্রীর অভিভাবকদের কাছে আবেদন জানিয়েছেন যে, তারা যেন কলেজে এসে নিজের ছেলেমেয়েদের পরীক্ষায় প্রাপ্ত নম্বর ও কলেজের ক্লাসে তাদের উপস্থিতির হার জেনে নেন।

এর পাশাপাশি অধ্যক্ষ ছাত্রছাত্রী ও তাদের অভিভাবকদের জ্ঞাতার্থে জানিয়েছেন, এ বছর চালু হওয়া আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সিবিসিএস শিক্ষাক্রমের নিয়ম অনুযায়ী ছাত্রছাত্রীদের কলেজে উপস্থিতির হার কমপক্ষে ৭৫ শতাংশ থাকতে হবে। তাছাড়া ছাত্রছাত্রীদের কলেজের ইন্টারন্যাল অ্যাসেসমেন্ট পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ হওয়াটাও বাধ্যতামূলক। যদি কোনও ছাত্রছাত্রী এই নিয়ম পালন না করে তবে আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের নির্দেশ অনুযায়ী সিবিসিএস শিক্ষাক্রমের আওতায় স্নাতক প্রথম সেমিস্টারের পরীক্ষায় তাদের বসতে দেওয়া হবে না।

কলেজ কর্তৃপক্ষ আরও জানান, কলেজের দ্বিতীয় ইন্টারন্যাল অ্যাসেসমেন্ট পরীক্ষা সেপ্টেম্বরের শেষ সপ্তাহে নেওয়া হবে। ছাত্রছাত্রীদের এক নির্দেশে কলেজ অধ্যক্ষ জানান, দ্বিতীয় এই অ্যাসেসমেন্ট পরীক্ষায় তাদের অবশ্যই বসতে হবে। অন্যথায় আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় তাদের সেমিস্টার পরীক্ষায় বসতে না দিলে কলেজ কর্তৃপক্ষ কোনওভাবেই দায়ী থাকবেন না।

September 15: As per the TDC CBCS Regulations approved by Assam University, Silchar, Radhamadhab College conducted its first Unit Test (a component of Internal Assessment) from 6 September to 12 September. In a press release issued by Dr. Pronoy Ranjan Deb, Principal, Radhamadhab College, it was further informed that many of the students of TDC 1^st semester (Arts & Commerce) did not appear in the 1^st Internal Assesment, while some failed to score pass marks. In this context, the Principal of the college appealed to the parents to come to the college and know the marks scored by their wards in the Unit Test and also their percentage of class attendance.

Along with this, the Principal also mentioned some of the highlights of the TDC CBCS Regulations for the knowledge of the students and their parents. He mentioned that as per the Regulations, a student is required to have minimum 75 percent attendance in aggregate to be eligible to appear in the end semester examination. Apart from this, it is compulsory on the part of the students to pass in the Unit Test (Internal Assessment) also. If any student fails to abide by these rules, then as per TDC CBCS Regulations, such students would be devarred from appearing in the end semester examinations.

The college authority further informed that the second Unit Test (Internal Assessment) will be held in the last week of September. In a notification issued by the Principal, it was stated that, it is mandatory on the part of the students to appear in the second Unit Test, failing which, the college authority will not be responsible, if those students are not allowed to appear in the final examinations by Assam University.
