ওয়ে টু বরাক, ৩ এপ্রিল : বন্যার প্রস্তুতি জোরদার করার জন্য বৃহস্পতিবার কাছাড় জেলা আয়ুক্তের কার্যালয়ের পুরনো সম্মেলন কক্ষে “রিপোর্টিং এবং ক্ষয়ক্ষতি মূল্যায়ন” বিষয়ক একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়ভিত্তিক সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। জেলা দুর্যোগ ব্যবস্থাপনা কর্তৃপক্ষের (ডিডিএমএ) অতিরিক্ত জেলা আয়ুক্ত তথা প্রধান নির্বাহী আধিকারিক যুবরাজ বরঠাকুরের সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠিত এই অধিবেশনে বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিভাগের ঊর্ধ্বতন প্রতিনিধিরা এই বৈঠকে সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহণ করেন।

Way2barak, April 3 : In a concerted effort to bolster flood preparedness, a crucial thematic meeting on “Reporting and Damage Assessment” was convened at the Conference Hall of the Office of the District Commissioner, Cachar here on thursday. The session, held under the chairmanship of Yubraj Borthakur, Additional District Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), saw active participation from senior representatives of various key departments.

The meeting underscored the urgent need for a well-structured and synchronized reporting system to accurately assess damage during natural calamities. With the impending monsoon season posing a potential flood risk, the primary objective of the discussion was to establish an efficient mechanism for coordinated reporting and precise damage evaluation, ensuring that the district remains well-prepared for any eventuality.
