৮ অক্টোবর : মহাত্মা গান্ধীর ১৫০তম জন্মজয়ন্তীর সূচনালগ্নে দেশব্যাপী স্বচ্ছতাই সেবা প্রকল্পের আওতায় কাছাড় জেলায় সেরা স্বচ্ছ স্কুলের মর্যাদা পেয়েছে আইরংমারা এমই স্কুল। সম্প্রতি জেলা প্রশাসন ও পুরসভার উদ্যোগে আয়োজিত এক অনুষ্ঠানে স্কুলের প্রধান শিক্ষিকা রেখা দত্তের হাতে ট্রফি ও মানপত্র তুলে দেওয়া হয়।

জেলায় সেরা স্বচ্ছ স্কুলের খেতাব পেয়ে প্রধান শিক্ষিকা বলেছেন, এই পুরস্কার তাদের দায়িত্ব কয়েকগুণ বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে। তিনি আরও বলেছেন, শিক্ষা বিভাগ ও প্রশাসনের সহযোগিতা পেলে আগামী বছর রাজ্যস্তরে তাদের স্কুলটি সেরা স্থান দখল করবে।

October 8: As a part of ‘Swachhata Hi Sewa’ project launched by the government on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Irongmara M.E. School has obtained the crown of the ‘Best Clean School.’ In a recently concluded programme organised by District Administration and Silchar Municipal Board, a trophy and certificate was handed over to the head teacher of the school, Rekha Dutta.

On receiving the award of the Best Clean School in the district, Head Teacher Rekha Dutta said that the award has increased their responsibility manifold. She further said that if the administration and education department comes forward and support them, then the school can also win the award of the Best Clean School of the State.
