Week long campaign on awareness of child right concludes in Hailakandi

November 21: A week long campaign on awareness of child rights initiated from Children’s Day came to an end on 20 November in Hailakandi. On the concluding day, a rally child rights was taken out, which was flagged off by Keerthi Jalli, Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi.

This awareness campaign was done in collaboration with District Child Protection Unit and Childline under the campaign ‘Childline se dosti’. Various activities on awareness of child rights, importance of saying ‘no’, good touch/bad touch, and tying of Childline se dosti band to various members of public and other such were taken up. An appeal was made to report any injustice against done to a child.on the number 1098.
