9800 yaba tablets seized, 2 arrested in Katigorah

way2barak, Sept 29: Acting on a reliable source information regarding transportation of illegal narcotics substances two persons were apprehended. They are

1) Md. Sahim Uddin Khan S/O Md.Aftab Ali khan of Vill – Bairabpur Part II, PS – Kalain and

2) Md. Didarul Islam S/O Lt. Abdul Sahid of Vill – Dumkar PS- Kalain.

During thorough search of the persons at Noon Nagar NH O6, Katigorah the police team recovered 49 packets of suspected Yaba tablets containing 9800 tablets from their possession and seized accordingly.

One autor rickshaw bearing No. AS 11 EC 1725 used for transportation of the narcotics substance has also been seized. Further lawful action is being taken, SP Numal Mahatta informs.
